The 8D report evaluation displays the quality of a content of an 8D report. The supplier can evaluate and comment on the 8D steps according to predefined criteria and a customer-specific evaluation scheme.
The customer can request the evaluation in case of complex problems or critical errors. In this case, the information is displayed in tabs “Customer complaint” and “Supplier response” in the section “D8”.
8D Plus is an 8D report that contains further analyses.
The customer can request an 8D Plus Report with complex problems or customer errors. In this case the response type on the customer complaint tab is “8D Plus”. The supplier is also shown that an 8D Plus Report has been requested by the customer in the D4 and D7 areas.
The SupplyOn Problem Solver supports the interactive complaint and problem solution process between customer and supplier in accordance with the 8D method. The 8D method is a standardized problem solution process that consists of eight steps (8D = 8 disciplines). Following the eight steps helps to identify the real root cause of the problem and to resolve it permanently.
