A control point is an inventory measurement point, such as a site (global view) or an unloading point (detailed view). For control points: users are activated, user authorizations are configured and master data for the logistics processes is updated.
The Supply Chain Directory supports “Corporate Supplier Management” for the Seller company linking (Networklink). This is defined on control point level for an entire corporate group.

In the Supply Chain Directory you manage your company’s master data for logistics and finance processes.
The master data maintenance for the logistics processes is based on a “control point”. A control point for SupplyOn is an inventory measurement point, such as a site or an unloading point, for example.
In addition, the Supply Chain Directory allows the linking of suppliers for logistics and finance processes. This process also contains the concept of the “Grouped supplier linking”.
The assignment of the supplier reference number defines a relationship between SupplyOn, the supplier’s internal company ID, the buyer-specific supplier number and the backend applications used.
Click on the “Seller ID Mapping” tab for the following functions in the “Administration / Company” menu item.
Under the “Administration / Company” menu item on the “Details” tab, you see the master data and further information for your company.
In company administration you as Company Administrator can also perform the following task:
In company administration, company information, such as address, name, D-U-N-S no., etc. are shown centrally for all SupplyOn Services. You will also find cross-company configurations here.
Changes to company information are made via change processes in the “Contract & Invoice” area.
