What are VMI Outbound Messages, which kind and formats are available and what are the requirements to receive these messages?
1. What are VMI Outbound Messages?
There are two message types: OUTBOUND und RATING

OUTBOUND messages include all information from the inventory projection. These messages can be compared with the .csv download in VMI.
RATING messages included rating data. The messages are used to measure the delivery reliability of the supplier.
3. Wat are the requirements to receive VMI Outbound Messages?
The buyer is responsible for the set up of this functionality.
4. Formats
The supplier can decide whether the outbound message is being generated in EDIFACT or XML format. The supplier defines this setting in the Control Point.
Information for buyer users - How to customize the VMI outbound message settings
If you are a customer and you have the role "VMIBuyerAdmin", you can access the area in which you can customize the VMI outbound message settings for your suppliers.
You also have the option of configuring the messages for all suppliers (select *) or for every supplier separately.
You can define the outgoing message by selecting values shown in the drop-down menus in the table. The time at which messages are sent depends upon the time zone in which is set for the customer plant.
You can also disable the sending of messages without deleting the configuration. To do this, uncheck the "active" column.

- Copy an entry in order to adjust it
